The Aggie Network
Through unity, strength.
Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets Motto
The motto of the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets applies to the entire Aggie Network and you are now part of that network.
Strength of the Aggie Network
As a member of Texas A&M School of Law, you are not only equipped with the tools needed to be an effective advocate, but you also have the strength of the Aggie Network behind you. Texas Aggies are known for our character, determination and an uncommon loyalty to our alma mater and to our fellow former students. The 460,000-strong Aggie Network of current and former students stands ready to help you throughout your law school and professional career.
Spirit of the Aggie Network
Besides the practical benefits of the Aggie Network, which includes a vast network of loyal, dedicated former students worldwide and the strong support and resources of a large tier-one public university, there are the intangible, but very real, aspects of Texas A&M that will benefit you at Texas A&M Law. The matchless spirit, 12th man tradition, and core values that set Texas A&M apart from other major universities will distinguish you as an Aggie lawyer.
The Aggie Ring
More than just a time-honored tradition, the Aggie Ring is your immediately recognizable symbol of membership in the Aggie Network. It symbolizes one of the key benefits to being a student at Texas A&M School of Law — the professional network built with fellow classmates and fellow Aggies everywhere. The relationships and networking opportunities you make in law school are invaluable and will last a lifetime.
Texas Aggie Bar Association
A unique part of the Aggie Network is the Texas Aggie Bar Association (TABA), a Chartered Constituent Network of the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M University. Formed in 1974, TABA’s motto is “Expanding the Aggie Network in the legal community and providing scholarship opportunities for future Aggie attorneys.” You can join TABA as a Texas A&M Law student and begin networking with its hundreds of members and continue to utilize this valuable professional networking resource throughout your career.
By the numbers
With an Aggie Network of more than 688,000 former students, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of Texas A&M, proud Texas Aggies can be found in all but one of Texas’ 254 counties, in every state, and in over 160 countries on every continent except Antarctica. These will be your potential friends, colleagues, employers and clients. That’s a powerful network.
