Reference Services

Our librarians are experts in legal research methodology and are available to answer questions about how to perform legal research; however, they cannot do research for others, nor may they answer questions about the law or provide legal advice.

We encourage anyone seeking reference assistance to visit the library so that we can assist you with both print and electronic resources. While you are welcome to contact the reference desk via telephone or email, the librarians' ability to provide effective service in those manners is limited.

Please remember that the primary mission of the Dee J. Kelly Law Library is to support research, scholarship, and learning for students and faculty at the Texas A&M University School of Law. During the academic year the reference desk is open more than 60 hours per week. Reference hours are more limited when school is not in session.

Reference Hours
Monday - Friday  9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday   1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Exceptions to our regular hours.
