"Intellectual Property in All the New Places" Symposium

This symposium examines new situations in which IP issues may arise, such as those surrounding cloud computing, 3D printing, synthetic biology and robotics. It explores the following questions: Should IP rights be protected in these situations? What are the strengths and weaknesses of such protection? Are there alternatives? And how do IP rights interact with each other?
