Professor Michael Z. Green was quoted in the Texas Record article “Professor says injunction on Obama’s overtime rule is not arbitrary,” (Dec. 2, 2016). 

Professor Bill Henning attended meetings in Philadelphia of the Uniform Law Commission’s (ULC’s) Committee on the Uniform Commercial Code and the Permanent Editorial Board for the Uniform Commercial Code (PEB). The PEB is a joint committee of the ULC and the American Law Institute, the UCC’s sponsoring organizations, which oversees the development of the UCC, discourages non-uniform amendments, and publishes reports and commentaries on important topics related to the UCC. Associate Professor Carol Pauli presented “Fostering Resilience and Belonging in Marginalized Law Students” at the Legal Writing Institute One-Day Conference at Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, N.Y. (Dec. 10, 2016). 

Associate Professor Lisa A. Rich presented, “One–pagers, Testimony, and Rulemaking Comment, Oh My! Teaching Public Policy Drafting Techniques in a Law School Setting” at the 5th Colonial Frontier Legal Writing Conference at Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, Penn. (Dec. 3, 2016).

Professor Saurabh Vishnubhakat was an invited speaker at the 2016 Patent Quality Conference: Advancing Patent Quality across the IP Community hosted at the United States Patent and Trademark Office and co-organized by Duke Law School and Santa Clara Law School. The slate of conference speakers included current and former USPTO and European Patent Office officials, judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and experts from industry and academia (Dec. 13, 2016).

Professor Peter Yu delivered the 20th ACIP Intellectual Property Forum lecture, "The RCEP and Trans-Pacific Copyright Norms," at the Intellectual Property School of South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China (Dec. 20, 2016).
