Dallas Bar Association Award

The Dallas Bar Association (DBA) Energy Law Section and Texas A&M Law teamed up for the 2016-17 academic year to sponsor a scholarship for the student who receives the highest grade each semester in the introductory Oil & Gas Law course. Along with recognition at a DBA Energy Law Section event, $500 was made available each semester.

2L Brian Steinocher was the recipient of the award for the Fall 2016 semester and 3L Janese H. Dudash was the Spring 2017 semester recipient.

The State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section Award

The State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Section offers an identical award albeit with $1,000 awarded to student with the highest grade in the introductory Oil & Gas course, and $500 to the student with the second highest grade.

2L Brian Steinocher and 3L Brison Bursey received this award in the Fall. 3L Janese H. Dudash and 2L Lauren Wright Mueller were Spring recipients.
