Stephanie Bradley FryerIn Spring 2017, the Texas A&M Law Program in Natural Resources Systems selected Stephanie Bradley Fryer to attend the 2017 American Law Institute Advanced Course in Environmental Law in Washington, D.C.

Fryer reported: “This course covered a wide range of current topics as they pertained to attorneys in the private sector, non-profit organizations, and governmental agencies. Many sessions were particularly focused on how current law and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would be affected by a new administration including the current state of the “Waters of the United States” rule, the National Environmental Protection Act, the Clean Air Act, and many other hot issues."

She continued, "In one session of particular interest, the speaker discussed upcoming cases that might be heard by the Supreme Court, what the Court might look like when those cases are heard, and possible outcomes."

Fryer says this is definitely a premier event to attend "no matter where you land on the environmental law spectrum."

"I appreciate the opportunity to attend this year and encourage others to make plans to attend the next ALI Environmental Law Course,” concluded Fryer.
