The Public Interest Law Fellowship Gala and Auction is the primary fundraiser for the Texas A&M Law Public Interest Fellowship.
The TAMU Law Fellowship is a student-run organization devoted to raising awareness of the need for dedicated legal professionals in the public sector. Our fellowship program funds internships for deserving students who perform public-interest work with organizations and attorneys providing crucial legal services to those in need. Furthermore, the program exemplifies Texas A&M School of Law’s core value of selfless service as students give back to the community while also gaining practical legal experience.
Every dollar raised by the Gala and Auction helps fund students’ living expenses while they work in the public interest sector during the summer.
The Gala includes both silent and live auctions, as well as an opportunity to hear from some of the Law Fellows themselves about their experiences. This event not only raises money for fellowships, but also serves as an opportunity for students to professionally network with local attorneys and community leaders.
If you have any questions or would like information regarding sponsoring or donating to the event please contact our President, Evelyn Y. Garcia Lopez at evelynygarcial@tamu.edu.
