Program Overview
The advocacy program at Texas A&M University School of Law offers you unique opportunities to develop exceptional advocacy skills in the disciplines of
- Moot Court (appellate advocacy),
- Mock Trial (trial advocacy) and
- Aggie Dispute Resolution “ADR” (negotiation, mediation and arbitration).
This comprehensive, experiential-based program led by experienced professors, judges and attorneys prepares you to tackle a variety of complex challenges real lawyers face every day.
Through extensive, individualized instruction and feedback, as well as numerous opportunities to compete against teams from other law schools around the nation and against fellow Texas A&M law students, the program helps you develop the confidence, competence and integrity necessary to excel in the legal profession.
Program News

For the second year in a row, Texas A&M University School of Law earned a top 10 finish in the American Bar Association (ABA) Competitions Championships for achievements and participation in arbitration, negotiation, client counseling and national appellate advocacy competitions.
