Refund/Return Policy

Refund Policy for purchases paid for by cash or check, per TAMUS regulation 21.02.02

• Students: All returns for purchases paid for with cash or check must be refunded through the student billing system.
• Non-students: All returns for purchases paid for with cash or check must be refunded by a voucher processed through the Texas A&M "AggieBuy" system.
• A purchase may be refunded to a bookstore gift card.
• All returns for purchases paid with a credit card will be credited back to the card.

Textbooks

• A full refund will be given if textbooks are returned during the first week of the Fall and Spring semesters, 2 days within the start of Summer, and the first day of any 1 week class with original receipt
• No refunds on unwrapped loose-leaf books or books labeled “No Return if Unwrapped”
• Textbooks must be in original condition
• No refunds or exchanges without original receipt

General Reading Books, Study Aids, Flash Cards, Software, Audio, Video

• A full refund will be given if merchandise is returned, in original shrink wrap within 14 days of purchase with original receipt
• Study aids, guides, outlines, charts, are not returnable
• Opened software, audio, video, etc. may only be exchanged for the same item if defective.
• Merchandise must be in original condition
• No refunds or exchanges without original receipt

All Other Merchandise

• A full refund will be given if merchandise is returned within 30 days of purchase with original receipt
• No cash back on gift cards
• No refunds on gift cards
• Merchandise must be in original condition

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RECEIPT!

• Do not write in your book(s) until you are sure you are keeping them.  Any marks in the books will require a discounted refund.
• Study aids, i.e., Emanuel’s, Gilberts, Casenotes, High Court Briefs, Siegels, Finals, Nutshells, Legalines, Hornbooks, Quick Review, Barcharts, etc. are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Please feel free to come in and look closely at the study aids before making your selection.
• The Law in a Flash, Gilbert “Legends” CDs and Sum & Substance  CDs  may be refunded with receipt within 30 days if the plastic wrap is still intact.
