Marketing & Communications (MarComm) at Texas A&M University School of Law handles a wide range of tasks, from assistance with school branding to event publicity to media relations. For our faculty, staff and students, it is a resource for telling the Law School’s story – no matter the medium. The office also serves as the first stop for journalists and all external requests seeking expert commentary, school details, etc.
Marketing and Publicity – our office provides branding, official logos, templates and approved guidelines for merchandising and other business development needs. Additionally, we coordinate all Law School community events and assists departments in basic event needs. We maintain editorial and design oversight over the school’s website and collateral materials. MarComm coordinates event publicity in conjunction with other Law School departments. We produce material promoting faculty scholarship and other accomplishments in print materials and on the website. We also coordinate external Law School social channels such as Facebook and Twitter.
Media Relations – our office manages media requests, faculty interviews, and all on-campus media filming. We also distribute media alerts for professor commentary and maintains our faculty expert’s directory and tracks faculty member appearances in the media. We are responsible for press releases and all campus news.
