CLIP: Academics

Intellectual property is not just one of the fastest growing areas of the law, but one of the most practically relevant. In an economy increasingly focused on information and content, there is an increasing demand for lawyers with knowledge of intellectual property law and its widespread application.

Texas A&M School of Law offers a comprehensive curriculum in intellectual property with the opportunity to take courses in a variety of areas, from licensing and business transactions to arts and cultural heritage, from technology and new media to sports and entertainment. In addition, Texas A&M School of Law provides students with opportunities to take learning beyond the traditional classroom and into real-world settings, as students engage in practical skill-building and simulated client counseling.
