Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship

June 23, 2017

Patrick-DeanW1L Patrick Dean has been awarded the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship for 2017-2018.

There are only 31 recipients from 21 constituent schools of the Foundation.

Students who can demonstrate a commitment to the study of oil and gas law, mining law, energy law, water law, public land law, environmental law, and related areas, are eligible to apply for a Foundation scholarship. Criteria considered by the scholarship committee include potential to make a significant contribution to the field of natural resources law, academic ability and leadership ability.

In addition to a $10,500 award, the scholarship gives the opportunity to attend the Annual Institute of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, which this year will take place in New Mexico, or one of its special institutes.

The RMMLF institutes are a great venue to learn the latest legal developments in natural resources and meet academics and practitioners.

These tuition scholarships are awarded to students currently enrolled at RMMLF constituent law schools, and are paid directly to the schools.
