Texas A&M University School of Law is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Texas – the 13th largest city in the country. Even with our size, Fort Worth has a livable, small-town feel. As part of the larger Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, you’ll have access to all the world-class museums, restaurants, entertainment, outdoor activities and professional sports teams you would expect in ​the fourth largest metropolitan area in the nation. The largest Certified Blue Zones Community (an indicator of the city's quality of life), Fort Worth is one of the nation's healthiest communities, ranked in the top 20% for well-being.

  • Fort Worth/Dallas is home to one of the nation’s highest concentrations of corporate headquarters, with 2​4 Fortune 500 companies, including ExxonMobile, AT&T, American Airlines, Texas Instruments and Tenet Healthcare. McKesson and Core-Mark are the latest Fortune 500 companies to ​relocate to DFW.

  • Fort Worth/Dallas is also home to a number of defense contractors. Two divisions of Lockheed Martin have their divisional headquarters in Fort Worth.   • Facebook is ​expanding its $1 billion data center campus in Fort Worth.

  • Texas is one of the major U.S. centers for computer hardware and software development. ​Described as the “Telecom Corridor,” “Silicon Prairie” or “the newest Silicon Valley,” the DFW metroplex currently has has more jobs in IT than Austin. DFW hosts a high concentration of ​information ​technology companies such as Texas Instruments, Perot Systems, and EDS, as well as telecommunications giant AT&T.

  • The Dallas/F​ort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the 2nd largest and 4th busiest airport in the U.S. Every major city in the continental U.S. can be accessed within 4 hours flying time from the airport, giving the region a major competitive advantage in business.
